Monster Laboratories Terms: We accept University and government Purchase Orders. Credit cards can be used to order equipment up to $4,000. A deposit may be required to accept an order from a private company or for equipment worth $10,000. We normally include an appropriate warranty for service or parts in failure after delivery and installation. We ask Net-28 days payment for POs, 10% deposit with net due on installation, or Net-10 days credit. Other terms apply as specified. Installation: When an instrument is placed on the bench and powered up, tested to ensure basic operating function, it has been installed. Training provides basic familiarity with the instrument. Warranties and support happen after terms of sale for the installed equipment are satisfied. Training: Assuming the instrument works properly on installation, then we will provide basic training to ensure the user can use the instrument. We will provide additional support to bring the user toward competence, although proficiency is our goal. Support: Training assumes the user will develop solutions. We will help. Setup: Users can look to us to show them how to use the instrument, and we can make it work properly for your application. We are not obligated to monitor your use or care of equipment unless specified. Restocking: When an instrument is received at the customer's location, it has been delivered (assuming it is the item specified in a quotation). Refusing delivery of the specified item or returning the item after delivery will cause a restocking fee of 35% of the invoice.* Monster Laboratories Warranties: Consumables: Some electronic and other components and fittings are consumable. This means they have a shorter lifetime than the instrument, and we don't plan to cover spent consumables under a warranty. New Laboratory Equipment includes the manufacturer's new equipment warranty. Factory Outlet Lab Equipment comes warrantied by the manufacturer too. Usually, the term is reduced from the new warranty, but the price is about half. We don't buy factory refurbished machines under this heading. The Manufacturer certifies the machine is in proper working order, we re-open the box and test it. They're called demo units, but they're usually trade show props or surplus. Eppendorf Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Brinkmann Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Binder Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Lauda Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Tuttnauer Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Cahn Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Shimadzu Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. New Brunswick Scientific Products are covered by their 1-year warranty, unless specified. Refurbished/ Used Lab Equipment comes with our standard 90-day product warranty for parts & labor, unless otherwise noted. We don't sell as-is equipment, but if you contact us we'll put you in touch with good people who do. | |
